Before joining Pigott Law Group and becoming a Senior Associate, Ms. Pigott worked as an associate at Hodgson Russ LLP, where she focused on complex commercial litigation. She later transitioned to The Barnes Firm, concentrating on personal injury law and serving as appellate counsel. She also holds a Master’s degree in International Development from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy from William Smith College in Geneva, New York.

Her commitment to global service began prior to her legal career. As a Peace Corps volunteer, Ms. Pigott spent two years in rural Malawi working in health outreach. Following that, she returned to Malawi as the Country Coordinator for Project Healthy Children, later expanding her role to include Zimbabwe. She is currently a Program Lawyer with Irish Rule of Law International, collaborating with the Malawi Police Service to advocate for children in conflict with the law and uphold the legal rights of detainees.

In addition to her legal work, Ms. Pigott serves as the Executive Director of The Brick Foundation—an organization launched by her brother during her time of serving in the Peace Corps. She is also a proud member of the Grand Island, New York chapter of ZONTA International, a global network focused on advancing women through service and advocacy. Outside of her inspiring professional endeavors, she enjoys traveling, writing, and spending quality time with her husband and their lovely two children.
